Lab Grown Diamond Ring Prices in Hyderabad: Carat-Wise Cost Breakdown
If you're shopping for a lab grown diamond ring in Hyderabad, the first question is always the same: what will it actually cost? This guide gives you straight answers, using the starting prices of real rings on our store, and explains exactly what pushes a price up or down so you can compare any jeweller's quote with confidence.

Why lab-grown diamonds cost less
Lab-grown diamonds are graded on the same 4Cs as mined diamonds: cut, colour, clarity and carat. They're real diamonds with the same hardness and sparkle. The difference is how they get to you. There's no mining, no heavy machinery and far fewer middlemen, so the price is a fraction of a comparable mined stone. For context, a 1 carat mined diamond of similar quality typically costs ₹3–4 lakh or more.
What goes into the price of a ring
Every ring price is made of five parts. Ask any jeweller to show you this split:
- Diamond: based on carat, cut, colour and clarity
- Metal: silver, 14K or 18K gold, priced by weight and purity
- Making charges: SIYARI charges a flat making fee, not a percentage of gold value
- Certification: IGI grading report
- GST
Carat-wise prices for lab-grown diamond rings
These are starting prices for rings currently on our store. Every diamond is IGI-certified, E/F colour and VVS clarity. The final price depends on the metal you choose, ring size and design.
0.25 carat: approx. ₹8,000 – ₹10,000
Subtle sparkle for minimal solitaires and everyday stacking rings.
0.40 carat: approx. ₹10,000 – ₹14,000
Noticeably more presence without moving into a higher budget bracket.
0.50 carat (half carat): from ₹18,500
The most popular size for engagement rings. See the 0.50 ct Solitaire Chic Ring and the 0.50 ct Carsie Ring.
0.70 carat: from ₹30,625
A bigger look on the finger, especially in an elongated shape like the 0.70 ct Oval Solitaire Ring.
1 carat: from ₹24,999
The classic statement size. Our 1 ct Round and 1 ct Princess rings start here. Yes, that's below some 0.70 ct rings: a simple four-prong setting uses less metal and labour than a detailed one, which is exactly why design matters as much as carat.
1.5 carat: from ₹42,450
Strong visual impact for an engagement ring that stands out. See the 1.5 ct Emerald Solitaire and the 1.5 ct Classic Solitaire.
3 carat: from around ₹85,000
A bold centrepiece that would run into many lakhs as a mined stone. Our 3 ct Emerald Bezel Ring starts at ₹84,328.
Prices are as listed on our store in October 2026 and can change with gold rates.
Why prices vary within the same carat
- Cut: the biggest driver of sparkle. An excellent cut costs more and is worth it.
- Colour and clarity: higher grades cost more. We only use E/F, VVS, so you're already at the top end.
- Metal and weight: 18K gold costs more than 14K, which costs more than silver. Heavier, detailed designs add to the total.
- Shape: round diamonds usually cost a little more because more rough is lost in cutting. Oval, pear and emerald can be slightly cheaper at the same grade.
- Accent stones: halos and pavé bands add diamonds and labour.
Which carat size should you choose?
- Engagement rings: 0.50 ct to 1.5 ct gives the best balance of size and sparkle.
- Daily wear: 0.25 ct to 0.70 ct is comfortable and practical.
- Statement pieces: 1.5 ct to 3 ct.
- Always prioritise cut over size: a well-cut half carat can outshine a poorly cut one carat.
Before you buy: a quick checklist
- Certificate: IGI or GIA, with a report number you can verify online.
- Laser inscription: the number on the diamond's edge should match the report.
- Hallmark: gold should be BIS-hallmarked.
- Price breakdown: diamond, metal and making charges shown separately.
- See it on video or in person: photos alone don't show sparkle.
- Buyback terms: get them in writing. SIYARI offers an 80% buyback guarantee.

Questions we hear every week
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. They're made of carbon in the same crystal structure as mined diamonds, with the same hardness, fire and brilliance.
Will a lab-grown diamond lose its shine?
No. A diamond doesn't fade or go cloudy. A quick clean with warm soapy water keeps it bright.
Are they strong enough for daily wear?
Yes. They score 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, the same as mined diamonds.
Why are they cheaper if they're real?
No mining, a shorter supply chain and fewer middlemen. You pay for the diamond, not the journey.
Are lab-grown diamonds good for engagement rings?
Very. You can afford a higher grade and a bigger stone, and every stone comes with a certificate.
The bottom line
Once you know how carat, cut, metal and design add up, ring pricing stops being confusing. Lab-grown diamonds let you wear a bigger, brighter stone for a price that makes sense.
